How long has Breakaway Auto Glass been in business?

Our owner has been working in the auto glass industry for 25 years and we have been a company, proudly serving the Hamilton and Haldimand region since 2008.

How many service vans do you have on the road?

We currently have 2-3+ vans on the road, servicing the Hamilton, Burlington, Haldimand County and surrounding areas.

Do you have a shop too? Or only mobile service?

We have a shop where we perform the work, located at 327 Barton St, Stoney Creek, Ontario L8E 2K8.

We also provide mobile service – we can come to you!

Will the adhesive bond last?

Adhesives are exposed to cold, heat, humidity, rain and salt air for years to verify long-term strength.

Why is it important to wait the prescribed time before driving the car?

For safety, it takes time to meet requirements for windshield retention. The longer the urethane cures, the stronger the bond.

How soon after the auto glass repair can I drive my car?

The repair is usually completed in 30 to 60 minutes, and the car may be driven – depending on weather – within two hours after the work has been completed.

How does the windshield repair affect the windshield?

The repair is permanent. It will restore the strength of the windshield and prevent the damage from spreading. A repaired windshield will pass the same standards as a new windshield.

Does your auto glass repair work on heated windshields or tinted windshields?

Yes, it will work on heated windshields.
